Barry Litherland lives with his wife, Susie, and two springer spaniels in the far North of Scotland. Born in Blackpool, Lancashire, he has lived and worked in NW England, Devon, SW Scotland and the Highlands. Now retired and writing full-time, he was a Primary School Head Teacher and an Educational Development Officer. He writes fast-moving, character-driven crime fiction and paranormal crime fiction and has just completed his first novel for children. He likes to break rules, expand boundaries and create novels which move and challenge. He is an avid reader, loves cycling and enjoys walking and taking photographs. He has been happily married to Susie for nearly 50 years. They have three children and one grandchild.
